This Vintage Life...



This 1950's Brexton picnic set is just what you'll need for the exceptional summer we're (apparently) going to be enjoying this year! Everything but one teaspoon is original and is marked 'Brexton' or in the case of the flasks 'Thermos'. It's a set for four people so there are four cups/saucers/plates/knives/forks and teaspoons as well as two sandwich boxes, two thermos flasks, two larger plastic bottles, one smaller glass bottle and a cruet set. The china has a particularly nice 1950's abstract design on it. It's all contained in a bright blue hard case which fastens well but is missing it's key. There is a bit of wear on the outside of the case as you would expect. Although it's all in generally great condition there are a couple of things to point out which aren't too much of a problem but I have priced the set accordingly to take these into account. One cup has had it's handle glued back on (it seems pretty well stuck!) along with a tiny chip, presumably where it was dropped and the outside of one of the flasks has rusted.
