Art Nouveau Embroidered Box
 
An interesting old fabric covered box with a stylised Art Nouveau Poppy embroidered on the lid and smaller blue embroidered flowers on three sides.
The lid is hinged and the inside is lined with dark green paper.
 
There is one brown spot on the lid and a faint stain as well as a brown mark on one corner...not bad for something nearing it's century!
