Victorian Biscuit Barrel
 
 
This is a very pretty Victorian biscuit barrel decorated with roses. It has a little green bakelite knob atop an EPNS lid. The nicely shaped handle is brass.
 
There is a crack inside the barrel at the bottom which cannot be seen from the outside so has not penetrated through the china. Because of this I'm offering it for a sensible price as it's so pretty I'm sure someone will want to give it a good home. I use a damaged biscuit barrel to hold my cotton wool in the bathroom!
