Who doesn't love those wonderful antique Stockman and Buste Girard mannequins? Unfortunately, their rarity and desirability have meant prices have risen and this has put them out of reach of many.
Now you can purchase a 'This Vintage Life' Mannequin which has the look of an antique mannequin but without the hefty price tag!
Although brand new she has been antiqued and distressed to give her the look of vintage.
Her jersey cover is removable and has been hand dyed for that 'old worn linen' look. Expect marks and smudges replicating years of wear. The solid wood finial and tripod base have been painted, distressed and finally waxed to protect the finish. She's even been stamped about the neck and bottom of the torso for that touch of added authenticity.
Although our mannequin looks stunning 'au naturel', if you prefer to see her 'dressed', she actually comes with a length of violet velvet ribbon and a hand made corsage to get you started.
The 'Paris' corsage is made from vintage fabric, again hand dyed and then printed. It is finished with a vintage button. You can even borrow it for yourself!
The mannequins body is completely pinnable so you can dress her up to your hearts content. How about displaying a favourite outfit? Maybe even your wedding dress? Her measurements are 35" 24" 36" or a size 12.
As a new mannequin, she has the advantage of being incredibly lightweight along with the flexibility of an adjustable base.
