This super wooden first aid case complete with decal is solid and well made.
In varnished wood with two feet, it can also be hung. The hinged front drops down to reveal four compartments and attached to the inside of the lid is the majority of an 'Advice on First Aid Treatment' label. This label refers to the Factories Act 1937 to 1959 which was superseded by the Act of 1961. Hence, the case most probably predates '61.
Great vintage condition; the inside has a slight whiff of 'Deep Heat' or something similar about it but it's not too strong or off-putting!
Some slight wear to the decal but the case itself is very tidy, inside and out.
