This Vintage Life...



I come across many lovely old books on my travels, some too damaged to sell but too lovely to throw away. This is particularly true for Ladybird books which more than most seem to have enjoyed a good life! Nothing wrong with that of course, it's great to know so many children have enjoyed them but the illustrations are wonderful and worth preserving. So, I've taken damaged Ladybird books and turned the pictures into a decorative bunting that would be suitable for a childs room or even anywhere else in the house if you so desire. These images are taken from a Ladybird Picture Book and you are getting A to E or Apple to Elephant. Each illustration is backed with a handmade paper to strengthen it and is strung with bakers twine. Five images, each 17cm x 11cm on just over a metre of twine with two loops for securing. The images may be moved easily along the twine. Please remember these are not copies but the original illustrations taken from damaged books and therefore vintage. They may not be pefect. This set is in excellent condition.
