Draw-A-Picture

I suppose this Draw-A-Picture tracing slate was a forerunner to more sophisticated things like Etch-a-Sketch!

It consists of a wooden frame containing a piece of frosted glass under which you place one of the sketches that are included. You then trace over the image in pencil, crayon or watercolour. The glass can be washed to remove the drawing ready for next time.

Made by Codeg, it comes in a lovely original box with wonderful graphics. A collectable in it's own right!

All in super condition, it contains the frame, instructions and fourteen pictures to trace over. Tracing paper could be used on top of the glass to save washing it every time. We used greaseproof paper when I was young, it makes an excellent substitute for tracing paper!
