This pair of stunning leather 'Braemar' brogues are by the English shoe company Loake.
They are in superb previously worn condition and look to have had only light wear.
As you may know, Loake shoes in need of repair can be returned to the factory for re-conditioning. They can be worn down to a state where any other shoes would be thrown away ie: holes in the soles and heels worn away to nothing! The shoes are literally taken apart, repaired and put back together, and all by hand of course. They should last a lifetime and as such are an excellent investment.
The uppers have a lovely warm patina and a gorgeous rich colour which I liken to a good malt whiskey! There are minimal signs of wear; some very light creasing across the front and maybe a couple of small light marks, nothing really worth mentioning except for accuracy.
The Goodyear welted soles are leather and in excellent condition, as are the heels. They have been cleaned and polished and are ready to wear.
All in all, a beautiful pair of quality shoes in a timeless design.
These are marked a size 8. However, they have been tried on by a size 9 wearer and they almost fit. So please go on the measurement provided or the size of an existing pair of Loake's you may already own.
