This cookery book was produced by The Stork Margarine Company as an aid to cooking in wartime, so there are chapters that deal with making puddings with less sugar and baking cakes with less fruit as well as ideas for sauces to make wartime food more interesting.

Illustrated with black and white photographs and very cute little line drawings.
 
In very good order ~ the pages have yellowed and there is a little foxing to the first and last endpapers. Very minor wear to the covers.
