This stunning machine sewn patchwork quilt is a great larger size and it's spring like colours will cheer up any bedroom.
The quilt consists of three fabrics...a pretty floral, a pink ticking and a small scale white floral on two different background colours.
The main body of the quilt is made up of the floral fabric criss-crossed with the two shades of smaller florals all contained within a narrow stripe of pink ticking. The ticking is also used to edge the quilt all the way around and the reverse is completely made up of the ticking.
Sandwiched in the middle of the quilt is a light weight batting, not too heavy at all
but having said that the sheer size of this quilt will definitely keep the chill out!
The condition is quite excellent with just a few things to mention, all relatively minor. There are three tiny pale brown spots (see images below) and two small areas of rust. These are paler than in the pictures as I've altered the images to enable them to show up clearly. One area is on a blue patch and the other, smaller area is on the next pink patch along (see images 12 and 13 below) All are virtually undetectable unless you're looking for them. There are also a couple of small, very faint marks on the reverse.
The quilt has no other stains or damage.
The quilt looks particularly pretty when on the bed, especially if the top is turned down to show the reverse. Unfortunately, it's huge size means it's almost imossible for me to get a good enough picture of it in that position but please do ask if you require any further images or information.
